Facilities

There are a variety of rooms in GISB that meet your needs. Below, you can find multiple room styles, such as large conference rooms, small conference rooms, and focus rooms. Important information, such as location and room capacity, is also listed below. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to gisbroom@iu.edu.

These rooms can accommodate 6-12 people. There is no technology in the Small Conference Rooms.

There are classrooms of various sizes throughout the building to accommodate different needs. They are equipped with all necessary technology. The Auditorium is also considered a classroom.

If you would like to reserve a classroom in GISB, faculty and staff may contact the Registrar. Students can submit requests through the beINvolved site.

There is one Television Studio in the building, located on the 4th floor of the East Wing (room 4030/4032).

The studio has a robotic camera, dmx lighting and audio broadcast capabilities to NPR and other radio outlets. The control room has a multi-camera switcher and recording capabilities, as well as the ability to go “Live” with interviews in the studio, lecture hall, and other areas in the building.

The Television Studio is used to connect faculty from Global and International Studies and across Indiana University to broadcast outlets across the world.
